Tell us something about your academic passions and how those relate to your role in Student Affairs program or department?

I feel passionate about people and helping them be successful. I have strong communication skills, and my role allows me to communicate with students and their parents as they get familiar with the campus. I mostly communicate with oncoming freshmen, so they are so eager and excited to get to the University!

What has been your greatest experience outside of the classroom?

Studying abroad in Barcelona.

What advice would you give new students about getting involved on campus?

To make friends with people who are different than them, branch out and get involved in the organizations on campus until they find something for them. Stay in touch with your best friends from high school and always answer your parents’ phone calls!

What do you like to do with your time outside of the university?

I spend a lot of time with my friends, family, and my small group of 10th grade girls that I lead through my church. I play tennis, love to go to the movies, and take pottery classes.

When do you plan to graduate and what is coming next for you?

I graduate in May 2023, and I plan to get a job in HR. My favorite part of any job I have ever had is the people I work with, so I feel really excited about championing and supporting a team to be communicative, honest, and collaborative.
