Tell us something about your academic passions and how those relate to your role in Student Affairs program or department?

My academic passion has always been towards having the ultimate health through nutrition and supplements. While at the University of Arkansas this passion ignites my future aspirations, to one day own my own clinic. Improving my bilingual and networking skills all come together through the student affairs program.

What has been your greatest experience outside of the classroom?

Since I am bringing my whole self to this leadership role in Nutrition, I would say one of the greatest experiences I’ve had was graduating from a culinary program from BrightWater college. This accomplishment gave me so many food ideas, that I can easily create a nutritional cookbook.

What advice would you give new students about getting involved on campus?

By having many responsibilities and volunteer opportunities my best advice would be to become a well-rounded student. These experiences have taught me skills of professionalism, time management, leadership, and communication skills, while working with diverse families and people from all outcomes of life.

What do you like to do with your time outside of the university?

Outside the University I enjoy painting and putting together recipes to use in my place of business I hope to attain someday.

When do you plan to graduate and what is coming next for you?

I plan on graduating from the University of Arkansas in 2026. I plan to bring to fruition my business ideas and be able to reach out to our diverse community as well.
